Last night (December 1, 2025), Wolf Gemora, drummer of the iconic Filipino metal band Wolfgang, announced his reunion with his fellow members of the band, vocalist Basti Artadi and guitarist Manuel Legarda. While details about what this particular reunion entails have yet to be clarified, the image posted by Gemora shows that it will take place on February 7, 2026, and will be presented by Ovation Productions.

This follows the recent re-release of their deluxe box of their eponymous debut album Wolfgang, which was originally released in 1995. In caption of the announcement of this special 30th anniversary drop, Artadi wrote that this would be the first time the band would earn fairly from a release, sharing, “We fought to put this album out since the label only wanted ballads… After 30 years of only them profiting from it, I think it’s time we and our children see something from it as well.”

Formed in 1992, Wolfgang was originally composed of members Wolf Gemora, Basti Artadi, Manuel Legarda, and Mon Legaspi. The four-piece temporarily disbanded after Gemora formally moved to the United States in 2002, and reunited in 2007 with Francis Aquino on the drums to later release their seventh studio album Villains in 2008. Unfortunately, due to cardiac arrest, the band’s longtime bassist and original member Mon Legaspi passed away in 2022.
