Indie rock/alternative band We Are Imaginary have released the music video for “Object of My Affliction,” the third single from their upcoming self-titled record and fifth overall, set to be released on January 9, 2026.

Directed and edited by Jam Lasin, the music video features the trio transforming into luchadores — Mexican professional wrestlers who compete in lucha libre. It ultimately serves as a visual metaphor for freedom. The song was released on October 17, 2025, and explores themes of fragile sexual intoxication. “Where do you draw the line / Of your own decline / While praying for her favor?” the lyrics go.

The band is composed of brothers Ahmad Tanji on vocals and guitars, and Khalid Tanji on guitars, together with JJ Rodriguez on drums. Their highly anticipated release, issued through Eikon Records Philippines, will be available on vinyl for PHP 2,500. Only 108 copies will be pressed, and pre-orders are now open exclusively through Eikon Records’ Facebook page.
