Jessica Sanchez Returns To Manila For 2026 New Year’s Countdown Show

Filipino-American singer Jessica Sanchez is set for a triumphant homecoming! After being crowned the grand champion of Season 20 of America’s Got Talent (AGT), Sanchez will return to Manila on December 31, 2025, to perform at Newport World Resorts’ The Grand Countdown to 2026, held at the Manila Marriott Grand Ballroom.

The countdown party promises to be one of Metro Manila’s grandest New Year’s celebrations. Tickets are now available through the Newport World Resorts Box Office, with prices ranging from PHP 18,000 to PHP 25,000. Early seat reservations can be secured here.

Her return to the Philippines for the countdown show is highly anticipated, as she last performed here as a musical guest at the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 pageant, where Michelle Dee was crowned.

Last September, Sanchez secured the AGT title, marking a full-circle moment. She first auditioned for the show at just 10 years old, reaching the semi-finals, and returned two decades later to win the competition while nine months pregnant. Her winning performance was a heartfelt rendition of JVKE’s “Golden Hour,” earning her the USD 1 million grand prize.

In addition to her AGT success, Sanchez was also the runner-up on Season 11 of American Idol in 2012.

On October 13, Sanchez celebrated another milestone with the birth of her daughter, Eliana Mae Gallardo.
