Today (August 1, 2025), Cebu-based pop rock band Coloura released their latest single entitled “2016.” Additionally, it has been announced that the track is soon to be accompanied by its music video, and more details regarding the visualizer have yet to be disclosed. Watch this space for updates.

Exploring the intensity of unexpected love, and how it can evolve from a fleeting connection into something all-consuming, the track marks the band’s fourth and final single ahead of their debut full-length album, which is slated for release on August 22 of this year. In a shared statement, the four-piece delve into the song’s concept, “It changed shape many times, both sonically and lyrically, until it finally became what it was always meant to be: a raw, emotional reflection on love, longing, and surrendering to something bigger than you.”

As aforementioned, “2016” is the fourth pre-release single Coloura have debuted prior to their upcoming self-titled album this year, following “At 25, somebody told me that I looked like a young Pete Wentz,” “GF,” and “Only Connection.” The band’s upcoming album is available for pre-saving here.

Currently composed of members Jake Relacion (vocals, guitar), Emil Baleva (guitar), Robert Lim (bass), and Ziv Zoleta (drums), Coloura made their official debut as a band in 2019 with the track “Losing My Mind.” The four-piece are signed with Cebu-based label Melt Records.
