Get ready, ONCE!
TWICE have just teased the forthcoming release of their fourth full-length album with the premiere of a video titled “INTRO: FOUR.”
In the newly released video, all eight members of South Korea’s ‘Nation’s Girl Group’ stand still in a modelesque pose while clad in the same blue outfits, each bearing the word “four” on their skirts. The fourteen-second clip is also backed by a fast-tempo beat, which may or may not clue ONCE and casual listeners alike with regard to the sonic direction of their upcoming album. Though the group mentioned that their comeback is scheduled to take place this July, no exact date has been revealed as of yet.
Check out the teaser video below:
TWICE’s fourth full-length album is set to mark their first album in four years, following the release of Formula of Love: O+T=<3 back in 2021. The latter spawned the hit singles “The Feels” and “SCIENTIST,” and was preceded by their other albums Eyes Wide Open and Twicetagram.
Just recently, the group made their latest comeback in December 2024 with their fourteenth mini-album Strategy –– with its title track featuring Grammy-winning rapper, Megan Thee Stallion. TWICE also collaborated with the beloved Houston rapper on a special remix to the latter’s chart-topping single “Mamushi”, and even as part of a new rendition of Coldplay’s track “WE PLAY.”
Strategy debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 upon its release, and its title track peaked at No. 25 on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart. Also last year, the beloved K-pop girl group visited the Philippines as part of a special fanmeet for Oishi — even speaking to Billboard Philippines about celebrating nine years as a group.
