The Aces of P-pop have just made their comeback.
Last December 5, BGYO released their latest single, “Andito Lang.” To allude to the new single, the group previously dropped hints last November, writing on their social media pages, “Sa bawa’t ikot ng mundo, ang @bgyo_ph ay #AnditoLang.” [At each rotation of the Earth, BGYO will be just here.]
Fittingly so, the new song is an ode to the group’s strong bond and their collective experiences. Similarly, in an official press release, it was mentioned that the anthem was written by group member Mikki together with Chris Lopez aka Moophs with inspiration coming from the group’s shared experiences while living away from their families and facing challenges in their career. It speaks about being with family and loved ones when times are tough.
The “Tumitigil Ang Mundo” hitmakers’ last release dates back to August 22 with “Trash,” where they reinvented themselves and found their new sound.
