Christmas this year is coming in the form of an unexpected gift — a duet between BTS‘ V and Bing Crosby.

Bridging the gaps between generations, it was announced last November 6 that the K-pop star1 would be incorporating his soulful voice into the iconic holiday classic, “White Christmas” by the late legend Bing Crosby. The 80-year-old song will be brought back to life through a revamp with V’s new creative spin, and the remix is scheduled for release a month from now, on December 6.

While the artist continues his service in the Korean military, he, along with the rest of his group, has not stopped his activities as an artist. Earlier in April of this year, he released a collaborative piece with international R&B star UMI and the literal sounds of NATURE, titled “wherever u r.”

Being the first from the group to be discharged from his military service period, BTS member Jin has been actively dropping hits. The group’s eldest is scheduled to release his first-ever solo album, Happy, this November 15. His pre-release track, “I’ll Be There,” has been permeating the airwaves, steadily climbing through the Billboard Philippines Hot 100, and currently positioned at No. 36 (dated November 9, 2024).
