BTS’ Jin Announces Long-Awaited Debut Solo Album ‘Happy’
The highly anticipated debut album is scheduled to feature collaborations from several renowned musicians, including Red Velvet’s very own WENDY.

BTS‘ Jin has many reasons to be Happy — especially with the release of his forthcoming debut solo album.
The highly anticipated record is scheduled to be released next month on November 15, 2024, and is set to featureFeatureA collaboration in which one artist appears on another's track, usually credited with the abbreviation feat. Features quickly introduce performers to each other's audiences, and a well-chosen guest can liftGo to Feature Glossary six brand-new tracks. According to an official press release from HYBE, the album will unpack Jin’s “honest thoughts and feelings on what happiness means to him in the hopes that those who listen to the album will also find joy.”
Amidst the album’s six tracks, it will include the official lead singleLead SingleThe first song released from an upcoming album, chosen to introduce its sound and generate anticipation. A lead single sets the tone for a project, and its performance on chartsGo to Lead Single Glossary “Running Wild,” and another pre-release track “I’ll Be There” — both of which will be released on October 25, 2024. Also included on the album are the tracks “Another Level,” “Falling,” “I will come to you,” and “Heart on the Window,” with the latter featuring Red Velvet‘s WENDY. Other collaborators on the project include Gary Barlow of the British pop band Take That, and Taka and Toru of the Japanese rock band ONE OK ROCK.
For both ARMY members and casual fans alike, the news is long overdue — as Jin comes as the only BTS member that has yet to release a fuller body of work. The beloved K-popK-PopA genre of South Korean popular music known for polished production, intricate choreography, and elaborate visuals, built around trainee systems and global fandoms.
