UPDATE: Charli XCX and Troye Sivan have officially announced “Sweat” as their joint arena tour in North America, which is set to feature Shygirl as a special guest throughout September and October 2024.

Pop stars Charli XCX and Troye Sivan have teased an upcoming collaboration single, titled “Sweat”.

“Sweat” marks the third collaboration between XCX and Sivan, following their tracks “1999” and “2099” –– which originally appeared in the former’s self-titled album from 2019. Both artists have posted their own respective teasers on their official social media accounts announcing the track, which follows after the previous teaser showcased on a billboard last April 13 outside the Coachella concert grounds in Indio, California. The initial teaser clued fans in with a large banner saying “CHARLI & TROYE” without any context – teasing their potential collaboration.

Just recently, XCX dropped three singles, “Club classics“, “B2b“, and “von dutch” off her upcoming seventh studio album, brat, which is due for release this June. Sivan also recently dropped his latest studio album late last 2023, Something To Give Each Other, which featured the Grammy-nominated lead single “Rush“, alongside other critically-acclaimed tracks “Got Me Started” and “One Of Your Girls“.

Though the teasers of “Sweat” have been posted, no further details regarding the track’s release date have been released so far.
