The last year of Filipino music has been it’s most exciting yet and at the core of it all has been BINI.

In 2024, the P-pop girl group went from Billboard Philippines’ Rising Stars to the Philippines’ No. 1 Artist. Beginning with the viral success of “Pantropiko,” the eight-piece act — comprising of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena — rose to the top of the Filipino music scene with a handful of hits that not only defined the year but empowered listeners all across the country. BINI ended the year with chart-breaking success, occupying multiple spots on Billboard Philippines‘ 2024 Year-End Top Philippine Songs chart with tracks like “Salamin, Salamin,” “Karera,” and “Pantropiko.”

BINI even put on several sold-out concerts across the Philippines including a three-day stint at the famed New Frontier Theatre and Araneta Coliseum — the biggest concerts seen for a local girl group.

Beyond taking over the Philippine music scene, BINI went above and beyond to achieve global domination. On top of several sought-after concerts across Asia and North America, the Nation’s Girl Group were also awarded the Best Asia Act award at the 2024 MTV EMAs and were one of the recipients of the Voices Of Asia Award at Billboard Korea’s K-POWER 100.

In short, 2024 was the year of BINI.

And rightfully so, Billboard Philippines proudly names BINI as the 2025 Women Of The Year. The girl group will be accepting the prestigious award at Women In Music: The Executive Edition on March 28, 2025, honored alongside the most of powerful and influential executives in Filipino music.

BINI come as the second artist to receive the award, following Global Force Awardee and the Philippines’ Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo in 2024. Woman Of The Year is the biggest award at the Women In Music Awards and is seen as a prestigious honor bestowed to women who have made significant contributions to the music industry and who continue to exemplify excellence through their hard work. In the past, the award was given to the likes Taylor SwiftBeyoncé, Madonna, Ariana Grande, and more at the Billboard Women In Music awards in the US.
