The music industry, both local and international, has been brought into vibrant color thanks to the various female artists and industry professionals who have been at the works of bringing us playlist staples from pop chart-breakers to addictive rap hits.

To cap off Women’s Month, Billboard Philippines is bringing back the highly anticipated Women In Music awards — the country’s sole awards ceremony dedicated to honoring and celebrating the tremendous achievements of women in the music industry. This 2025, we warmly welcome you to Billboard Philippines Women In Music: The Executive Edition as we turn the spotlight onto the industry’s most powerful female executives driving Filipino music forward.

In addition to honoring Filipino executives for their stellar contributions and achievements, Billboard Philippines will also be naming this year’s Woman of the Year. Set to be the only artist award at Women In Music: The Executive Edition, Woman of the Year is the biggest award at the Women In Music Awards and is seen as a prestigious honor bestowed to female artists who have made significant contributions to the music industry.

Last 2024, Billboard Philippines bestowed their first-ever award of Woman of the Year to the Pop Royalty herself, Sarah Geronimo. Beyond just her influence in the Filipino music industry, Geronimo has been recognized and celebrated all across the world. Celebrating the star’s evergreen presence in the media industry as a multi-talented artist, she was given the biggest award of the Women in Music Awards as a testament to her immovable place in Filipino music. In the past, the Billboard Woman of the Year Award has been bestowed to renowned global stars like Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Madonna, Ariana Grande, and more.

Billboard Philippines Women In Music: The Executive Edition will be happening this March 28 and is set to be attended by the industry’s most influential power players and game changers, as well as a handful of artists who are making waves in Filipino music.

The Executive Edition will come as the second edition of Billboard Philippines Women In Music awards, modeled after Billboard‘s US-based Women In Music that has honored artists like Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, SZA, Madonna, Ariana Grande, and more for their musical calibre and contribution to the music industry.
