Billboard Philippines Women in Music Hitmaker awardee Moira dela Torre graced the blue carpet at the inaugural edition of the Billboard Philippines Women in Music Awards held on March 22, 2024 at the Samsung Hall in SM Aura.
When talking about what being a hitmaker means to her, she said, “I feel like it’s an award I can never fully take credit for because there are so many beautiful songs being made…hits are made by the people. It’s almost like a decision made by the people. It almost feels like it’s an award for all my listeners that have made my songs what it is.”
“I just feel very honored to be here tonight.”
Moira dela Torre performed her hit, “Before It Sinks In” from her chartbreaking 2018 album, Malaya (Free). She joins the other performers and honorees Sarah Geronimo, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, BINI, and Ena Mori.
