Following the news of her sold-out 20th anniversary concert, Biyaheng Bente, Yeng Constantino is driving us down memory lane with the upcoming release of her latest single, “Isa, Dalawa, Tatlo, Cha.”
Announced on May 4, Cornerstone Entertainment shared the track’s animated cover art on social media, confirming its arrival on May 8. Described as “a nostalgic tribute to ’90s Filipino street culture,” the song is a callback to a chant used while playing teks, a classic card game that most Filipinos are well familiar with from their childhood.
The single follows the recent success of Constantino’s Biyaheng Bente concert, selling out the Big Dome’s seats in under six hours. Happening on August 28 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, the much-anticipated show serves as a celebration of the OPM singer-songwriter’s 20 years in the music industry.
Directed by John Prats, Constantino describes Biyaheng Bente as not just a concert, but a “reunion ng mga pusong pinagbuklod ng musika (reunion of the hearts united by music).”
Previously, the Pop Rock Royalty was recognized at Billboard Philippines’ Women in Music, receiving this year’s Hitmaker Award for her beloved body of work. Over her two-decade career, Constantino has produced hit after hit, including fan-favorites “Hawak Kamay,” “Ikaw,” “Chinito,” “Jeepney Love Story,” and a lot more.
Bringing us back to our favorite childhood street games, “Isa, Dalawa, Tatlo, Cha” is now available for pre-save on major streaming platforms.
