Acclaimed singer Erik Santos honors his late parents in his latest music for “Hanggang Sa Huli” (Until the End).
The video, which premiered last October 9, features Santos looking over pictures of his mother and father through the years. Santos’ mother passed away due to cancer last November 2022, with his father following shortly in August of this year. Written and produced by esteemed songwriter Jonathan Manalo, the song centers around loving someone unconditionally until the end.
Last October 6, Santos recently celebrated his 20th anniversary in the music industry with a concert at the SM Mall Of Asia Arena. Titled as MilEStone, the show was completely sold out. Yeng Constantino, Sheryn Regis, Darren Espanto, and Angeline Quinto performed special performances during the concert.
In an interview with MEGA Man, the singer revealed that he sang “Hanggang Sa Huli” as a Mother’s Day gift for his mother while she was in the hospital. He also shared that he is dedicating his 20-year milestone to the memory of his parents.
