Wacken Metal Battle Philippines Announce 2024 Grand Finals Date, Local And International Lineup

Get ready to mosh as the finals of Wacken Metal Battle Philippines 2024 is set happen at last.

On April 25, it was announced that the finale of the 2024 Philippine iteration of the prestigious heavy music competition is set to happen this coming June. It boasts diverse lineup, offering some of the best of the best in heavy music, both in the Philippines and the rest of Asia.

The local lineup is composed of Greyhoundz, WilaBaliW, Arcadia, Saydie, Badburn, Piledriver, and Wacken Metal Battle Philippines 2023 winners Redeemed By The Blood. They will be joined by an international lineup composed of Wacken Metal Battle 2022 grand champions Sable Hills (Japan), DownForLife (Indonesia), ANNALYNN (Thailand), MakeMake (Taiwan), An Empty City (China), and Restraint (Malaysia).

Rounding it all up will be the soon-to-be determined finalists of the competition from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

The finals is slated to finally happen this June 16, Sunday. Moving from its previous home of 2 years at the Amoranto Stadium in Quezon City, the grand finals for 2024 will be held at the MetroTent Convention Center in Pasig City. The gates will open at 1:00 PM and the show starts at 2:00 PM.

Tickets will be available starting on May 1, 2024 via the official Wacken Metal Battle Philippines website. Band auditions to have a shot at becoming a finalists for Wacken Metal Battle Philippines 2024 are still open until April 30. Find out how to apply here.
