Typecast are celebrating the vinyl release of The Infatuation Is Always There with a special show this February.
On February 4, 2025 (Tuesday), the veteran alternative rock/emo band announced that they will be holding a special show — dubbed an “album night” — to celebrate their acclaimed sophomore record The Infatuation Is Always There. Released in 2004, the full-length effort celebrated its 20th anniversary last year and was recently released on vinyl format for the first time via Eikon Records Philippines.
The upcoming gig is happening on February 17, 2025 (Monday) at the Viva Cafe in Araneta Center Cubao, Quezon City. Tickets to the event are available at the door and are priced at PHP 400 each. An exclusive vinyl signing will be happening from 8:00 PM until 9:30 PM (PHT), followed immediately by a live performance from the band.
In other news, Typecast released “Slight” — their first single in five years — last August 16, 2024. It served as the follow-up to “Mulat Na Mata,” the band’s first ever Tagalog song, which was released last March 13, 2019. Meanwhile, Typecast are set to go on the road with fellow rock veterans Urbandub this year for their 25th anniversaries.
