TWICE is joining Megan Thee Stallion for a very special remix to the latter’s chart-breaking hit, “Mamushi.”
The remix comes as part of the Houston-native rapper’s fourth studio album, titled Megan: Act II. The album is scheduled for release tomorrow (October 25, 2024), and features guest appearances from Flo Milli, Twice, Yuki Chiba, Spiritbox, and RM of BTS — who appear on the bonus track “Neva Play.”
News of the remix by the award-winning K-pop group and Thee Stallion first appeared on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), where both acts shared their excitement for the upcoming collaboration.
Just recently, TWICE announced their fourteenth mini-album, Strategy, which is scheduled for release this December 6, 2024. The album’s release was confirmed during their ninth-anniversary fanmeet event, HOME 9ROUND, wherein the group surprised the ONCEs in attendance with a surprise performance of one of the album’s tracks, titled “Sweetest Obsession.”
On another note, Thee Stallion’s Megan: Act II serves as the follow-up to the rapper’s third album Megan, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and spawned a series of hit singles, including “Cobra,” “Hiss,” “Boa,” and the original version of “Mamushi” featuring Japanese rapper Yuki Chiba.
