Troye Sivan Pays Tribute To The Women in His Life With New Single “She’s the Best” — Listen

Troye Sivan is back serving music with his new single, “She’s the Best,” kicking off a new era ahead of his fourth studio album of the same name, due October 9, 2026.
The title track serves as the lead single from Sivan’s upcoming record, his first full-length solo project since 2023’s Something to Give Each Other — which featured the singles “Rush,” “Got Me Started” and “One of Your Girls.” The album earned the Australian singer-songwriter three Grammy nominations.
“She’s the Best” was written by Sivan alongside The 1975 drummer George Daniel, Jack Antonoff, Leland, and Kaelyn Behr. Sivan co-produced the track with Daniel, Antonoff and Styalz Fuego.
Additionally, a surprise vocal appearance from Charli xcx, Sivan’s close friend and longtime collaborator, can be heard at the end of the track.
In an interview with Rolling Stone Studio, Sivan said the song marked a shift in his songwriting. “‘She’s the Best’ was the first time I wasn’t trying to psychoanalyze myself, and I wasn’t writing about men. The one thing that has been constant in my whole life is the women in my life, and the feminine people in my life.”
The release is also accompanied by a music video directed by Gordon von Steiner, starring fellow Australian and Academy Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman. Sivan and Kidman previously worked together in 2018 on the biographical drama Boy Erased.
The visual is set primarily in a club and celebrates womanhood, queer identity, and community, featuring drag performers, including Sasha Colby — winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15 in 2023.
