Filipino pop-rock band This Band have made their long-awaited return with “Sa Isip Na Lang,” a new hugot anthem featuring rapper Yuridope.
Serving as the band’s first official release since 2023, “Sa Isip Na Lang” arrived on July 17, 2026, marking the first-ever collaboration between the two acts. The track adds on to This Band’s signature brand of emotionally charged OPM while seamlessly weaving in Yuridope’s introspective rap verses.
The collaboration was first announced on July 10, 2026, before being performed live during the indie band’s single launch gig at Viva Café in Quezon City on July 16, 2026 with Yuridope and guest performers nicole and rhodessa.
Exploring themes of heartbreak and letting go, “Sa Isip Na Lang” highlights accepting that a loved one can only remain in memory after a relationship ends. The song’s emotional chorus drives home that difficult truth with the lines, “Oh, tulog ka na lang ng mahimbing / Bukas na lang kung magising / Pagkamulat bubungad ang sulat mo sa akin / Sa isip na lang makakapiling.”
Adding another emotional layer to the track, Yuridope’s reflective verse embraces the comfort that comes with revisiting old memories: “Pansamantalang na magpaalam / Dahan dahan namang gagaan / Kapag magsasara ng mata / Lagi na din naman nandiyan ka.”

Meanwhile, Yuridope has also been riding a wave of success, with his collaboration with Skusta Clee, “Rosas,” peaking at No. 7 on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 and spending 18 weeks on the chart.
