Taylor Swift just released the long-awaited music video to her latest single, “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart.

The video was shared as a surprise release earlier today (August 21, 2024), and chronicles several behind-the-scenes moments from the pop juggernaut’s ongoing Eras Tour around the world. From Swift practicing the choreography of the track with her backup dancers to bringing the song on stage in front of her live audience, the video highlights a plethora of insightful vignettes that showcase how the music translates from concept into reality. Check out the video directed and produced by Swift herself below:

“I Can Do It With A Broken Heart” is the second single off of Swift’s eleventh studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, following the hit collaboration single with Post Malone, “Fortnight.” The latter currently ranks at the No. 57 spot on the Philippine Hot 100, while several other tracks of Swift also occupy the chart. Her 2019 hit single, “Cruel Summer,” ranks at No. 40, while Folklore’s “August” stands at No. 54. Another entry from The Tortured Poets Department, “Guilty As Sin?” ranks at No. 76, while her remix to “Lover” featuring Shawn Mendes debuts at No. 96.

Just recently, it was also announced that Swift leads the charge for this year’s MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) — with a notable amount of ten nominations across the ceremony’s twenty-one categories. Among her several nominations, the majority of her nods stem from the dreamy cinematic visualizer to “Fortnight,” which was nominated for the award show’s grand prize, Video of the Year, as well as Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Collaboration, and a number of technical categories.
