The Artist Director Honors recognizes “groundbreaking music artists whose work behind the camera has expanded the possibilities of music video and advanced the art of visual storytelling,” according to the official press release. The award “celebrates a sustained and influential body of work from artists who have pushed creative boundaries and developed a clear directorial voice.

Swift won the Best Director four times, while being nominated for seven overall. Her wins include the music videos for “The Man” in 2020 — her directorial debut, All Too Well: The Short Film in 2022, the music video for “Anti-Hero” in 2023, and the music video for “Fortnight” in 2024.

This year, Swift has 11 nominations, including Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, Best Album, and Best Choreography, among others.

Before the 2026 edition, Swift is the most awarded act in the ceremony’s history, with a total of 30 Moon Person trophies under her belt.

The ceremony will air live on Monday, September 28 (PH Time).
