Stray Kids are back to devour their competition with their latest album, aptly titled ATE.

The eight-piece K-pop act — composed of Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. — dropped the eight-track record, which includes the track “Chk Chk Boom,” which showcases the group’s new musical capabilities with its Latin-style hip-hop rhythms. To coincide with the record’s release, the band shared a special set of visuals to the track, starring Deadpool & Wolverine‘s Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in special guest appearances for the music video.

Just a day prior to the album’s release, Stray Kids’ label, JYP Entertainment, also announced that all members of the group had renewed their contracts ahead of their expiration early next year, with a foundation on strong trust and a shared vision between the group’s members and the label through an official press release.

Also recently, the group was announced to be a part of the original soundtrack to Deadpool & Wolverine, which will feature a brand new song from the group titled “SLASH.” They are also set to visit the Philippines later this year as part of their ‘DominATE’ World Tour, with the concert set to occur on November 23, 2024, at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.

ATE marks Stray Kids’ ninth mini-album overall and follows the release of their eighth mini-album ROCK-STAR and 5-Star, their fourth studio album, which both dropped in 2023. Both records debuted on the Billboard 200 at the No. 1 position, marking their third and fourth No. 1’s on the chart following 2022’s Maxident and Stray Kids Mini Album: Oddinary (EP).
