SOS just released their first live EP.

Last October 9, the alternative pop/rock band released a compilation of live performances, entitled SOS Live Performance Compilation, recorded at Sunny Side Sound — a recording studio located in Quezon City’s Cubao Expo.

The quintet performed four of their tracks live on the brand new EP. The first is “Just A Little Bit Of Rain” — the final track on their 2020 EP The Other Side. Next is “Please Lang” — the band’s latest single, followed by their other 2023 single “Roses.” Finally, the EP closes off with “Seryoso” — the band’s first ever song sung in Filipino.

Initially, videos of the performances of “Just A Little Bit Of Rain” and “Roses” premiered on SOS’ official YouTube channel last July 22 and August 5 respectively. Meanwhile, the videos for “Please Lang” and “Seryoso” premiered on October 10, following the release of the Live Performance Compilation EP.

The SOS Live Performance Compilation serves as the band’s first release since “Please Lang” came out last November 17, 2023. It is also their third EP, following release of The Other Side last November 28, 2020.

Last August, SOS started teasing that they are finally recording their track “Amore” with the help of One Click Straight’s Tim Marquez. The song has notably been a fan favorite at the band’s gigs for years, making its release highly anticipated by many.
