SB19's justin And dwta Tease New Single "Sampung Mga Daliri"

SB19’s justin and dwta are gearing up to release a new single this month.

On January 16, 2025, dwta uploaded a short video to her social media, which sees her performing a snippet of an unreleased song that notably takes inspiration from the Filipino nursery rhyme “Sampung Mga Daliri.” Similarly, on January 18, 2025, justin of SB19 also posted a video of himself singing the exact same song. Both their posts seemingly tease the release date of the collaborative track — also entitled “Sampung Mga Daliri” — to be this January 24, 2025 (Friday). Watch this space for updates.

The forthcoming song serves as the follow-up to justin’s “kaibigan,” released last July 19, 2024; and dwta’s collaboration single with Paham “Huling Liham,” released last December 20, 2024, and “‘Di Naman,” released last October 4, 2024.

On January 19, 2025, the two Sony Music Philippines artists attended the 10th Wish Music Awards at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, where they closed off the night by debuting the unreleased track live for the very first time. justin was also nominated for Wish Pop Song of the Year for “kaibigan,” while dwta was nominated for Wishclusive Contemporary Folk Performance of the Year for “Padaba Taka” and Wish Breakthrough Artist of the Year.
