P-pop rise, indeed. SB19 and BINI are nominated for International Group/Duo of the Year at the 2026 SEC Awards in Brazil.
This isn’t the first rodeo for the Kings of P-pop, as they have been nominated every year since 2022 and have won the same category in the 2022, 2024, and 2025 editions. In 2025, they beat global acts such as Twenty One Pilots, Linkin Park, SEVENTEEN, Stray Kids, TWICE, and Green Day.
For the Nation’s Girl Group, however, this marks the first time they have been nominated at the Brazilian-based awards show.
Other nominees in the category include a stacked lineup of global acts, which include KATSEYE, BLACKPINK, BTS, BE:FIRST, LE SSERAFIM, and MONSTA X.
This year, P-pop and Filipino music continue to make waves around the world. BINI became the first all-female Filipino group to perform at Coachella. SB19, on the other hand, are set to perform at this year’s Summer Sonic in Japan and will make history as the first Filipino boy group to perform at Lollapalooza in the US.
A’TIN and BINI, you can cast your votes starting Friday, April 24, 2026, via the SEC Awards official website.
The SEC Awards, formerly known as the Séries em Cena Awards, is a major Brazilian award show that honors achievements in music, film, television, and internet culture in Brazil and globally. Other categories include Movie of the Year, Series of the Year, and Song of the Year.
