Sabrina Carpenter is back with a new single titled “Espresso.”
The “Feather” singer-songwriter’s latest offering comes after she concluded her run as the opening act for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. She accompanied Swift for the tour stops in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Australia, and Singapore.
This is Carpenter’s first standalone release since she dropped multiple follow ups to her 2022 album, emails i can’t send. In 2023, she released the deluxe version of the record titled emails i can’t send fwd: and a Christmas-themed EP, fruitcake. The latter included her remix of her viral hit, “Nonsense,” named “A Nonsense Christmas.”
The music video of “Espresso” is set to premiere today (April 12) at 10 PM, Philippine time. In an Instagram post, the singer shared, “till then I’m on vacation.” Watch the premiere here.
Carpenter is set to perform at the 2024 edition of Coachella this weekend. Her set will happen on April 12 (April 13, Philippine time) on the Coachella Stage. She took her emails i can’t send tour to Manila last year in April, where she performed at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
