If there’s a young crooner who knows how to make our hearts swoon, it would be Rob Deniel.
The 21-year-old singer-songwriter has just recently announced his latest single, “Puso,” through his social media platforms, with the track scheduled to hit streaming and digital services this April 30, 2025 (Wednesday). Teasing the lyrics “Dadalhin kita sa puso ko, baby” via his caption, he also showcased the song’s cover artwork featuring himself holding up a ton of hearts, and a ten-second snippet that showcases its pop-rock sound.
“Puso” marks the highly anticipated follow-up to Deniel’s string of 2024 singles, which include “Happy Ending,” “Arrowmance,” and his collaboration with Janine Teñoso, “Distansya.” He also dropped the long-awaited music video to “Happy Ending” earlier this February, which starred Hyacinth Callado in a visualizer that paints a story of yearning and vying for one’s affection.
Just recently, Deniel was also featured in the newly released cover album, SWABE, alongside artists like Earl Agustin, Amiel Sol, Janine Teñoso, Rhodessa and more. For the album, he performed a cover of Hotdog’s “Ikaw Ang Miss Universe Ng Buhay Ko,” giving listeners yet another glimpse of his skills as one of the more prolific OPM crooners of today.
His hit single, “Miss Miss,” currently positions itself at the No. 63 spot of the Billboard Philippines‘ Hot 100 chart (dated April 26, 2025), spending its 34th week on the chart.
