Rob Deniel and Janine Teñoso have just announced their forthcoming collaboration track, titled “Distansya.”
The song was first teased a few days ago via a faux Facetime video, which showcased both artists on call teasing their plan for a collaboration between the two of them, before being revealed in its full glory just last night. Together with its cover artwork, an attached snippet of the track was shared online, alongside the details of its scheduled release date of June 7, 2024. Also posted was a reaction video from both Deniel and Teñoso wherein they were listening to the final track for the first time together, giving audiences a glimpse of the full song and their open excitement for what they’ve accomplished with their collaboration.

“Distansya” marks the first release of Deniel this 2024, following his recent string of hit tracks “Miss Miss“, “RomCom“, and “Ang Pag-Ibig” from last 2023. The music video to “Miss Miss” was released late last May, and stars former Pinoy Big Brother Otso 7th big placer Ashley Del Mundo, as well as Teñoso in a special cameo appearance.
This year, Teñoso released her hit song “Hulaan” which has already garnered close to two million streams on the platform of Spotify alone. In addition to its standard version, she also recently dropped a live recording of the track –– as well as a live performance to her 2023 single “Sandig” which were both dropped over the past two months.
