Fresh off their recent streak of career milestones, Over October has just announced their first-ever solo concert, Ikot Sa Music Museum.
The “Ikot” hitmakers shared the news through a surprise announcement on their social media accounts, urging their fans to ‘Save The Date’ along with giving the concert’s first details. Their highly anticipated show is scheduled to take place on October 4, 2024, at the Music Museum in San Juan, Metro Manila — marking a significant milestone in the group’s ten-year career on the scene.
While the independent alt-pop band has performed in more than enough gigs around the country, this momentous occasion is bound to be one for the books. Ticket selling starts this Friday (August 9) via TicketWorld, with prices ranging from Php 750 (General Admission), Php 1230 (Regular), Php 2500 (Patron), Php 2800 (VIP), and Php 3250 (SVIP), Patron passes include regular merch from the band, while VIP and SVIP passes include premium merch –– with the latter also adding in a meet-and-greet pass and early soundcheck access with Over October.
Just recently, Over October made their impressive debut within the Billboard Philippines‘ Hot 100 chart with their single “Ikot,” which entered the position of No. 60 in its first week. With a new peak of No. 51 on last week’s charts (dated July 26, 2024), the group’s impressive trajectory is well worth paying attention to over the next couple of weeks as it may potentially climb in ranking.
Beyond the success of “Ikot,” the group also dropped a new single titled “Kaakit-Akit,” which has already accumulated over 300,000 streams and counting in less than two weeks since its release earlier this July 19, 2024.
