On the newly released track, the beloved alternative-rock group embraces a new set of soundscapes that honor the post-punk movement, which perfectly fits as an evolution of what they’ve accomplished on their discography. Self-produced and self-written, “TELEPONO” is an excellent example of their growth as a band, highlighting how the Marquez brothers and Joel Cartera have continued to find new avenues for their dynamic together can flourish –– both on the sonic and lyrical front.
Though major details regarding the track have been kept under wraps, the group has been teasing its release over the past month, releasing snippets and video teasers that have clued fans with regard to the track’s lyricism and sonic identity.

In 2023, the band also dropped their eponymous sophomore album, which spawned the hit singles “MRT,” “Hahayaan,” and “Siya.” The record was selected as one of Billboard Philippines’ picks for the Best Albums of 2023, being described as their “magnum opus, which the four-piece band would very well agree with” given that it features “vulnerable yet valiant tracks representing all of their discography’s best qualities.”
