Just like his One Direction bandmates, Niall Horan is gearing up for a brand new era with the release of his new single, “Dinner Party,” on March 20, 2026.
Announced today, March 5, 2026, Horan says the track talks about a really happy moment, which started as a simple dinner party that changed the course of his life. “After writing the song, the words ‘dinner party‘ became the nucleus for the rest of the record. That once-in-a-lifetime moment that I am grateful for and for everything that came after that night,” he says.
As of this writing, the title for the album and release date have yet to be announced. 2026 looks to be the year of One Direction (of sorts). Louis Tomlinson kicked it off with the release of his third studio album, How Did I Get Here?, in January. Harry Styles drops his fourth record, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, in March, while Zayn Malik follows with his fifth album, KONNAKOL, in April.
Horan, though, is not too far behind. He began his post-One Direction career in 2017 with the release of his debut album, Flicker. He followed it up with Heartbreak Weather, released in 2020, and The Show, in 2023. He last visited the Philippines in 2024 when he brought ‘The Show: Live on Tour‘ to Manila at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Before the announcement of this single, Horan collaborated with British singer Myles Smith on the track “Drive Safe.” From 2023 to 2025, he also served as a coach on the 23rd, 24th, and 28th seasons of The Voice.
