Laguna-born rising solo artist neytan (Nathan Del Mundo) drops his latest romantic ballad, “ano lasa ng pag-ibig? edi tipaklong,” today, April 10, 2026, via Offshore Music.
The release follows the Quezon City-based singer’s groovy track, “Out of Tempo Out of Time,” released in October 2025. As his first release of the year, neytan leans into his sentimental tendencies with the track, evoking the feeling of going home after a long bus ride, and is infused with his humor and quirkiness, as reflected in its title.
In an official statement, neytan cited the influences for the track, saying, “There is always a specific type of love songs displayed [on bus rides] from artists like Air Supply, Stephen Bishop, and Jaya.”
On the track, he served as the main songwriter and producer, working together with fellow musicians Reese Medestomas on keys and JP Napiza on strings.
For those who may be unfamiliar with his music and artistry, neytan embraces his own sense of humor, sincerity, and romance in his songwriting. Taking cues from his roots as a bedroom musician making music in the comfort of his own space, he says, “I just wanted to write another love song with nonsense lyrics that has that feeling of love that you can’t really deny the genuineness of it.”
