South Korean girl group MEOVV are back with a bold new release, unveiling their second EP, BITE NOW.
Released on June 1, 2026, the mini album features five new tracks, including “Hit ‘Em,” “DDI RO RI,” “In my hands,” “Favorite song,” and “Revenge.” The project follows the group’s first extended play, MY EYES OPEN VVIDE, which was released in May 2025.
Marking MEOVV’s first comeback of the year, the EP arrives eight months after the release of their digital single “BURNING UP” in October 2025.
Leading the project is title track “DDI RO RI,” which reimagines elements of Bach’s iconic composition Toccata and Fugue in D Minor into a contemporary K-pop anthem. Incorporating the classical piece’s recognizable organ motif into its hook, the track creates a dramatic and haunting sound.
Accompanying the single, the music video sees the girls with matching gray toned, waist-length hair inside a monochromatic miniature house, with the visual embracing high-contrast and baroque-inspired styling. The video culminates in a striking choreography sequence featuring figures clad in bright red, full-body leather suits, adding another layer of unsettling intrigue to the visual narrative.
With BITE NOW, MEOVV continue to evolve their artistic identity, trading the playful energy of their debut era for a more fierce concept. The opening track “Hit ’Em” delivers a high-energy hip-hop sound, while “In my hands” leans into EDM-pop territory with club-ready production.
The group also showcases a softer side through the melodic ballad “Favorite Song” that stands out among the EP’s harder-hitting tracks, while “Revenge” rounds out the release with a sentimental, R&B-leaning sound.
Composed of SOOIN, GAWON, ANNA, NARIN, and ELLA, MEOVV debuted under The Black Label on September 4, 2026 with the digital single “MEOW.”
