Mayonnaise are back with a special album, entitled B-sides & Rarities, Vol. II. Released on April 4, 2025 (Friday), the brand-new full-length record from the Filipino rock favorites notably contains “compilation of rare tracks and new versions” written and recorded by the band “from 2009 to 2025.”
The album contains a total of 12 songs, including covers of Rico J. Puno’s “Kapalaran” and Juan Dela Cruz’s “Kahit Na Anong Mangyari,” a new version of “You Can’t Be Right” with Mikki Jill (Fiona, Kamikazee), and more. It serves as the follow-up to the first B-sides & Rarities album from the band, which came out in 2012. In addition, it serves as the band’s first release of 2025, following their previous album Thanks For Everything, which the band put out last May 31, 2024.
In other news, the band recently took part in the 10th anniversary of Wanderland Music & Arts Festival, held last March 22 to 23 at the Filinvest City Event Grounds in Muntinlupa City. They shared the stage with international stars like Daniel Caesar, Dayglow, Chet Faker, and more, as well as fellow Filipino acts Sinosikat?, Toneejay, ALYSON, and more.
Meanwhile, Mayonnaise are heading overseas multiple times later this year. They are set to hold a one-night-only show in Tokyo this May and have also teased shows in Canada and Australia happening this September.
