Yesterday (April 24, 2025), James Reid took to his official social media platforms to debut his latest single, “Love The Chase.” The fresh pop track is set to serve as the anthem for this year’s iteration of the Miss Universe Philippines competition. This follows the previous Miss Universe Philippines anthem composed by Johannes Rissler, entitled “Hiraya.”
At the launch party for his latest EP, jgh, the R&B singer-songwriter detailed his new era of growth in writing music, “I realized I have so much more to give with music, and I feel like I’m just getting started, actually.” Released last November 29, the EP is a mellow pop embodiment of the hitmaker’s coming to his own, as he detailed during the EP’s launch. “I feel like I am so comfortable in my own skin right now.
In related news, James Reid is set to join Maki for a Canada tour in July of this year. In this tour, the OPM hit-making duo will be touring locations from Winnipeg to Toronto.
