Malcolm Todd returns with his sophomore album, Do That Again, released under Columbia Records.

The project follows his 2025 self-titled debut studio album, which featured the single “Chest Pain (I Love).” It debuted and peaked at No. 66 on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart, dated April 19, 2025. The 14-track debut record was expanded with a deluxe edition, Malcolm Todd (still), released in the same year, adding four additional tracks.

Thematically, Do That Again follows 22-year-old rising indie-pop/R&B artist Malcolm Todd as he navigates and explores the cyclical nature of young adulthood, breaking up and getting back together, and male vulnerability. It features the previously released singles “Breathe” and “I Saw Your Face.”

On the meaning behind the album’s title, Todd opened up in an interview about brainstorming ideas and writing notes in a journal, saying, “We were like throwing names back and forth, and I was like, let me just put my phone down and write a bunch of stuff down in my journal, and then I got it.”

“It’s like, there’s some duality to it, you know? But to me, it’s like really sexy in a way and really earnest […] I feel like the first time a girl kissed my neck, the only thing I could think of was ‘do that again.’ It’s just such a pure feeling of something feels good, and you just want it to happen again because that’s life,” Todd adds.

“And then there’s also that beautiful part of it where it’s just like everyone is the same at the end of the day. We just want to be told we’re pretty. We just want yummy food. We just want to get sleep. We just want to do that again […] This was something good that happened, and now everyone around me wants it to happen again, and it’s on my shoulders. So that’s my story of it,”
