Madonna reigns supreme once again, as her latest album, Confessions II, becomes her 10th No. 1 album on the US Billboard 200 chart.

Debuting atop the chart dated July 18, 2026, the Queen of Pop becomes the fourth artist or act ever to achieve at least 10 No. 1s on both the US Billboard 200 albums chart and the US Billboard Hot 100 songs chart. This achievement makes her the first artist to have a No. 1 album in four different decades — the 1980s, 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s.

Additionally, she is one of only two artists, alongside The Beatles, to have scored at least 10 No. 1 albums on both the Billboard 200 and the U.K. Official Albums Chart.

On the week ending July 9 in the US, the record launches with 134,000 equivalent album units, according to Luminate, becoming the biggest week for a dance album so far in 2026. It also marks Madonna’s biggest streaming week ever for an album release and her largest pure album sales week in over a decade.

Confessions II now joins Madonna’s list of No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200. She claimed her first chart-topping album in 1985 with her sophomore record Like a Virgin, followed by True Blue (1986), Like a Prayer (1989), Music (2000), American Life (2003), Confessions on a Dance Floor (2005), Hard Candy (2008), MDNA (2012), and Madame X (2019).
