Lorde is gearing up for a comeback on stage with the announcement of her Ultrasound World Tour in North America and Europe, in support of her upcoming fourth studio album, Virgin.
The “Ribs” singer took to Instagram to make the announcement, “I am going on tour in support of my new album, Virgin. Very proud and excited to be bringing my most talented friends in support,” she said. “Come see what’s under the skin.”
On her website, she announced, “I’m going on tour in support of my new album, Virgin. I’m very proud and excited to be bringing my most talented friends along.” Virgin is set for release on June 27, which includes the lead single, “What Was That.”
Supporting acts on the tour include co-producers Jim-E Stack and Dev Hynes (aka Blood Orange), plus The Japanese House, Nilüfer Yanya, Chanel Beads, Empress Of, and Oklou.
The tour is set to kick off on September 17 in Austin, Texas, with North American dates running through October, followed by a European leg from November to December. Meanwhile, no other international dates have been announced yet.
The upcoming tour marks her first since the Solar Power Tour in 2021, and her first arena tour since the Melodrama World Tour from 2017 to 2018.
