Alt-pop musical act Any Name’s Okay usher in a new creative era with the release of “Cobalt Blue,” their first single since the release of their second EP, Leaving Home.

The Awit Awards finalists had already given their fanbase a sneak preview of “Cobalt Blue” in their last few live performances, and even hosted an Instagram livestream during the hour leading up to the track’s availability on all digital platforms. The group told fans what they enjoyed most about working on the song, and teased an accompanying music video to coincide with the release of the track.

In an exclusive statement released to Billboard Philippines, the group said, “‘Cobalt Blue’ is a funk pop-inspired track that describes love in bright and vivid color. This is a step into the next evolution of our band’s sound while retaining the core of who we are. We’ll be releasing a few more singles in the coming months, as we ramp up towards our debut album.”

In celebration of their sixth anniversary, Any Name’s Okay is hosting a special event this Saturday, October 21 featuring special guests Reese Lansangan, Syd Hartha, and more hosted at 123 Block, Mandaluyong.
