Jazz songstress Laufey has premiered a video of the live performance of “Valentine” during her first concert in the Philippines last year.

Laufey uploaded the video today (February 7, Philippine time) on YouTube. The “Valentine” performance video comes after the singer’s first ever GRAMMY win for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for her latest record, Bewitched. In her acceptance speech for the award, she said, “I never thought that in a million years this would happen…I just want to thank…the classical and jazz communities of the world that have taught me so much; I owe everything to them.”

She also played the cello for legendary singer-songwriter and pianist Billy Joel during his first live performance after decades. He closed out the GRAMMYs, following performances from Olivia Rodrigo, Miley Cyrus, and more.

Laufey will be heading to Manila for two sold-out shows this May 28 and 29 at the PICC Plenary Hall. She will be accompanied by the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra to perform orchestral arrangements of her songs. Recently, she announced a similar concert set-up in Los Angeles with the LA Philharmonic Orchestra.

Laufey’s latest album Bewitched was released last year. In an Instagram post commemorating the release of the album, she shared, “Growing up with a jazz and classical background, I always knew I wanted to introduce the music I so loved to new audiences. In Bewitched, I leaned closer to my musical roots than I ever dared to before.”
