Jazz singer-songwriter Laufey has announced another show date for her return to Manila this May.

The concert was initially billed as a one-night-only show with the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra at the PICC Plenary Hall. Karpos made the announcement today (January 10) and shared that the artist pre-sale for Day 2 is now available using the same code. General on-sale for tickets start January 12 at 10AM. Tickets for the concert are priced at P2,750 for balcony, P4,370 for loge, P5,450 for VIP, and P5,990 for SVIP. Ticket costs are inclusive of ticketing charges. They will be made available via Tickelo.

Her May 28 and 29 shows follow Laufey’s instantly sold-out show in 2023. The jazz singer is currently undertaking her The Bewitched Tour in Europe and the United Kingdom. Her follow-up tour, Bewitched: The Goddess Tour, is set to commence in the United States in April of this year, until it concludes in the United Kingdom this year in August. Both tours have officially been sold out.

In other news, Laufey has been nominated for her first Grammy Award for her album, Bewitched under the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album category. In an Instagram post celebrating the release of her album, she wrote, “I’m so proud of this album, it’s already brought me to places I never ever thought I’d reach. One of the tracks on this album takes the form of a letter addressed to my younger self. In the song, I tell her to continue forging her own path, chase her dreams and drown out the voices that tell her to conform. With this album, I feel I’ve done exactly that.”

“Growing up with a jazz and classical background, I always knew I wanted to introduce the music I so loved to new audiences. In Bewitched, I leaned closer to my musical roots than I ever dared to before.”
