JENNIE‘s debut album Ruby officially turns one this March 7 — and in celebration of its first anniversary, the K-pop superstar has announced the release of a complete edition of the record.
News of the hit record’s reissue was announced by JENNIE’s label, Odd Atelier, wherein it revealed that Ruby: The Complete Edition is set to be released this March 6, 2025 (Friday) and will come packaged with a total of six bonus tracks. Of the six tracks, two of them are fan-favorite “like JENNIE” remix versions from her award show performances, and the other four will include the solo renditions of tracks like “Handlebars,” “ExtraL,” “Damn Right,” and “Love Hangover” — all of which were previously available only on physical media formats.
Upon its release, Ruby spawned several chart-topping singles such as “Mantra,” “Love Hangover” featuring Dominic Fike, “Handlebars” feat. Dua Lipa, and “like JENNIE.” All singles entered the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 and were supported by music videos, together with other tracks like “ZEN” and “Seoul City.” The album received acclaim from critics worldwide, and was noted as one of the best K-pop albums and overall albums of 2025 from publications such as Billboard, Rolling Stone, Forbes, and more.
To celebrate the album’s release, JENNIE embarked on a limited tour, titled The Ruby Experience, which saw her perform shows in Los Angeles, New York, Incheon, and Paris. In Billboard Philippines‘ review of the Incheon show, the concert was described as a “celebration of her freedom as an artist, and also a demonstration of the immense power that she’s capable of as a solo musician” — noting that it “felt like more than your usual K-pop concert.”
In other related news, JENNIE recently made a comeback with her fellow BLACKPINK members LISA, ROSÉ, and JISOO with the release of their latest mini-album, titled DEADLINE. The album was preceded by the hit single “JUMP” and was supported by the lead single “GO,” co-produced by Cirkut and TEDDY, and co-written by all four members alongside Coldplay’s Chris Martin and Teddy Chung.
