BLACKPINK have officially returned with their third mini-album, Deadline.

This marks the group’s first full project in partnership with The Orchard for global distribution, a subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment, following the conclusion of their partnership with Interscope Records in July 2025, which started in 2018.

Their first release under The Orchard was their comeback single “JUMP,” — the group’s first new music since 2022. The track debuted strongly worldwide, including peaking at No. 5 on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 dated July 26, 2025. “JUMP” sets the energetic tone for the project with its infectiously high-octane sound that BLINKs have come to love the group for.

Meanwhile, the mini-album’s official lead single “GO” arrived as part of the rollout alongside a high-concept music video featuring sci-fi visuals. The track was co-written by members JENNIE, LISA, ROSÉ, and JISOO, with additional contributions from Chris Martin of Coldplay.

The release of Deadline follows the group’s mini-albums, Square Up (2018) and Kill This Love (2019). To date, the group has released two studio albums, The Album (2020) and Born Pink (2022).

In January, BLACKPINK concluded their third global ‘Deadline World Tour,’ which spanned 33 stadium shows across Asia, Europe, and North America. It capped off with three shows from January 24 to 26, 2026, at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong. The tour is the group’s first all-stadium global run.
