Jackson Wang is releasing his third studio album, entitled MAGIC MAN 2, later this year. Consisting of 11 tracks, it is set to come out on July 18, 2025 (Friday).
The upcoming full-length record is split into four parts or “chapters,” with each one exploring a different stage of grief. Pre-orders for the album, in both digital and physical formats, are now available via Jackson Wang’s official website. Notably, a special “Chapter 1” cover is also available for purchase on CD and vinyl, which features an alternate cover art for the album.
MAGIC MAN 2 serves as the sequel to the GOT7 member’s sophomore album MAGIC MAN, which came out on September 9, 2022. It contains such hit tracks as “Blow,” “Cruel,” “Drive It Like You Stole It,” and more.
The release of MAGIC MAN 2 was first teased by the Hong Kong multi-hyphenate through the release of its first single “High Alone” on February 13, 2025. It was then followed by another single, “GBAD,” and its three different remixes. The first one features Number_i, followed by one with jasontheween, and the third one being with MILLI, YOUHA, and BIA. Most recently, Wang released the album’s third single, “BUCK,” which features Indian singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh.
