IU just dropped the highly anticipated music video for latest single “Love Wins All” which co-stars BTS‘ V today (January 24).
Released via EDAM Entertainment. the music video sees the pair escape to happier days of their romance as they fight to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. The heartbreaking love story — which was filmed last December — was directed by Um Tae Hwa (known for the Korean disaster-thriller film, ‘Concrete Utopia’),
“Love Wins All” comes as the first glimpse into IU’s upcoming album. When it was announced earlier this month, the single was initially called “Love Wins” but was later changed due to backlash. “We decided to change the title to respect and support everyone who loves in their various ways, and we accept the opinions of those who express concerns that precious messages might be blurred due to the title,” EDAM Entertainment wrote in a press statement.
IU is slated to embark on her H.E.R World Tour this March, which is slated to take over Asia and parts of Europe and the US starting this March. The singer-songwriter will be performing in Bulacan’s Philippine Arena this June 1.
