FELIP goes global!

Kicking off the year to a great start, FELIP is proudly representing the Philippine music scene with his recent performance at the D.U.N.K. (Dance Universe Never Killed) showcase in Japan.

The beloved Filipino hip-hop musician performed on both days of the star-studded showcase at the K-Arena Yokohama in Kanagawa, Japan last January 12 and 13, 2025 alongside acts like Sky-Hi, Kaito Takahashi, PsychicFever, &Team, Be:First, and Mazzel among others. “The show was really massive and one of the biggest stages I’ve performed in,” said FELIP on his official X (formerly Twitter) account. “It’s such a huge honor!”

The performance, which coincided with FELIP’s 28th birthday, was met with positive acclaim from those in attendance, with the genre-fluid figure being showered with a lot of love on his special day. “Thank you for all the birthday greetings,” he noted on his social media accounts, even posting a special shoutout to fellow artist Sky-Hi for gifting him with a Balenciaga gift box. “I will remember this forever,” he concluded as he attached a mini photo dump that included photos of him alongside some of the event’s artists.

Last 2024 marked a busy year for FELIP — especially with the release of his debut studio album 7sins, alongside his series of hit singles such as “Fake Faces” and two collaborations with PLAYERTWO — “Pagdali” and “FLYYY.” To celebrate the release of his 7sins album, FELIP also performed a special one-night-only concert at the Music Exchange, Shibuya last September, and even participated in a special in-store signing event at the famous Tower Records in Tokyo.

Together with his fellow SB19 members, they released two singles such as “KALAKAL” featuring Gloc-9, as well as the electro-dance inspired “Moonlight” which featured Ian Asher and Terry Zhong, and even performed in the famous Japan online series, The First Take.
