Halsey is celebrating the 10th anniversary of her debut album Badlands, announcing the release of a double-feature music video for fan-favorite tracks “Drive” and “Gasoline.”

The “Without Me” singer is revisiting her 2015 era with a new teaser, sporting her signature light blue hair from a decade ago. The clip closes with the words shown on-screen, “WE NEVER LEFT.”

Released on August 28, 2015, Badlands is a concept album that quickly established Halsey as one of the defining voices of alternative pop in the 2010s. It produced some of her most iconic singles, including “Ghost,” “New Americana,” “Colors,” and “Castle.” In 2020, she marked its five-year anniversary with Badlands (Live From Webster Hall), her first live album.

The original rollout of the record featured a dystopian narrative portrayed in the music videos. Now, more than a decade later, Halsey is picking up where that story left off. The unresolved ending of the “New Americana” music video finally gets a continuation, as she wakes up in the desert to the opening chords of “Drive.”

While the double-feature music video does not yet have an official release date, Halsey has confirmed that it is “coming soon.”

Additionally, fans can also look forward to the release of Badlands (Decade Edition Anthology) on CD and vinyl, arriving on August 29.

Available together for the first time, the anthology features 33 songs, including five new orchestral versions, demos, rarities, remixes, and the full deluxe album. The two-disc CD edition includes all-new artwork, while the 3LP vinyl edition comes in “Hurricane Swirl,” “Roman Holiday Blush,” and “Everything Is Blue” colors, presented in a triple gatefold package.
