Rising singer-actress Angela Muji makes her debut solo single with “Is It Over,” released through Ivory Music.
The emotional ballad brings Muji’s role as Alys Perez from the Viva One romance drama series, Dating Alys Perez, as part of its official soundtrack.
Dating Alys Perez is the sequel to the hit Wattpad series, Seducing Drake Palma, written by the user beeyotch (Ariesa Domingo). The sequel book is set four years later, with Alys now a successful pastry chef in the U.S, and has been building a stable life with Tripp — Drake Palma’s cousin.
After years abroad, Alys returns home with the thought of having her heart safe and secure after everything she shared with Tripp. However, she has crossed paths with Drake Palma (Rabin Angeles), which ultimately brings back old attachments in her conflicting love interests.
“Is It Over” is composed by Decky Jazer Palomares Margaja, with the lyrics written by Cristanto B. Aquino, the director of the Viva One adaptations. The song revolves around the lingering questions that come into the picture when a relationship becomes complicated. The song amplifies Alys’ heartbreak and yearning to fix a connection.
