Halsey and Evanescence frontwoman Amy Lee have teamed up for a new collaboration, “Hand That Feeds,” which will appear in the upcoming John Wick spinoff From the World of John Wick: Ballerina, starring Ana de Armas.
Halsey and Lee teased the song on Instagram ahead of its release. The “Without Me” singer also shared a text message with fans, along with a snippet of the new song, saying, “I really hope I see some of you guys on the For My Last Trick Tour. Here is something to hold you over… (the answer is yes, I am freaking out about it).”
A longtime fan of Evanescence, best known for their 2003 hit “Bring Me to Life,” the collaboration was a dream come true for Halsey. While promoting their album last year on Instagram, the singer dressed up as 18 of their music idols, including Amy Lee, and recreated the Fallen album cover.
The collaboration also follows Evanescence’s release of “Afterlife” for Netflix’s Devil May Cry season one soundtrack.
Directed by Len Wiseman (Underworld), Ballerina is set between the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and Chapter 4, and follows Eve Macarro (de Armas), a ballerina-assassin who begins training with Russia’s Ruska Roma criminal organization to take revenge for the death of her father. The film will also feature Keanu Reeves reprising his role as John Wick.
Ballerina opens in Philippine cinemas this June 4.

The film will also feature Sooyoung of Girls’ Generation in her Hollywood debut, playing Katla Park, the daughter of the Ruska Roma’s associate, Il Seong. Eve’s first field mission brings her to Katla at the lavish Minus Eleven club.
