H.E.R’s official version of The Foo Fighters’ “The Glass” is out now.

The GRAMMY-winning Filipino-American singer-songwriter first collaborated with the American rock band last October on an episode of Saturday Night Live, performing a joint version of “The Glass”. Today (November 17), The Foo Fighters released H.E.R’s solo rendition as double single release alongside the original version of the track.

According to a press release, H.E.R’s version is described as “nothing short of a revelation — a stunning and singular vocal/guitar performance that wrings new sonic and emotional dimensions from the original.”

“The Glass” comes off of The Foo Fighters’ 11th studio album, But Here We Are which was released last June. The record was most recently nominated for Best Rock Album at 66th GRAMMY Awards, as well as Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance.

Most recently, H.E.R has been delving more into rock, having most recently performed as part of a medley to commemorate Chaka Khan’s induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. This also comes as the singer’s latest collaboration following her work on a new version of Nigerian singer Asake’s “Lonely At The Top”.
